This February half-term, set sail at Cadbury World on Freddo’s Treasure Trove from the 10th – 18th February! Learn what it takes to become a pirate on the seven seas with Freddo and Captain Jack in the 15-minute show. Bursting with goodies (chocolatey ones of course!) and laughs, this is included in your standard Cadbury World entry ticket. Furthermore, the Character Afternoon Tea is back on the menu for this February half term. Alongside a Cadbury inspired afternoon tea in their Café Conservatory, you will get to meet and pose for a selfie with the Caramel Bunny, Freddo and Mr. Cadbury’s Parrot!

HALF TERM AT THINKTANK BIRMINGHAM SCIENCE MUSEUM

On Sunday 11th February, Thinktank will be celebrating International Women and Girls in Science Day. This is to inspire young girls and women who are interested in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics). There will be activities, workshops and talks for all ages, such as: challenging stereotypes workshop with STEM Learning (at ages 11+), veterinary science, inspiring women in STEM, and witches & botany. Other activities will include: ‘Mini-Engineers’ session in The Den, DNA session, and plenty more! Be sure to check the full list of really interesting talks and workshops here.

There will be also be plenty other exclusive half term events going on at Thinktank, such as their Planetarium Show, the interactive Our World From Space Family Show and Our World From Space Busking to learn all about satellites and how they work with the chance to see the world as satellites do.

Run free in the indoor LEGO playground which includes their 4D cinema, MINILAND, two exciting rides, build stations, soft play as well as some exclusive half term activities. February half term will invite you to embark on a LEGO Scavenger Hunt, learn new skills from our LEGO playmakers, colour themed build challenges, and have a go at creating an incredible build for their metropolis.

BLUEY AND BINGO AT WEST MIDLANDS SAFARI PARK

The children’s show which parents secretly love! Bluey and Bingo will be dropping by West Midlands Safari Park this February half term. From Monday 12th February to Friday 16th February, Bluey and Bingo will be making special appearances at intervals throughout each day. If you’d like to meet and catch a photo with them, you can reserve your meet and greet time slot here. This is included in your general admission ticket, which also enables you to go on the four-mile safari, visit the Discovery Trail, watch sea lion shows, see reptiles and have fun in the play areas and theme park!

GET CREATIVE THIS HALF TERM AT THE MAC

Get creative this half term! Home to Cannon Hill Park, MAC (Midlands Art Centre), will be offering unmissable family shows and screenings, such as Wonka, and hands-on creative course this February half term in Birmingham. Construct and decorate alien figures, invent new gadgets for the space age using 2D and 3D techniques in Alien Art on Monday 12th February. Children can explore drama and creative craft skills on the theme of Valentine’s Day, in the Valentine’s Day Craft and Drama workshop. This will include learning to write and then share their very own poems, and craft Valentine’s Day gifts and decorations.
