Best Days Out for Your Team in Birmingham

Looking for some of the best days out for your team in Birmingham?

It’s a bustling city full of awesome bars and restaurants, world class attractions and serene canals. Why wouldn’t you choose to get your team together in Brum?

There’s plenty to do whether you’re enjoying the day, stopping overnight or spending a few days in the city. We’ve rounded up four of the top team-building events on our patch.

1. Otherworld

Otherworld Birmingham

This is brand new to the city and perfect if you’re looking for something a bit different. Otherworld is about the latest virtual experience which sees you and your peers step into your own virtual reality pod. It combines a VR headset with heat, wind and rumble effects to give a realistic experience. You’re reunited with your colleagues as avatars and take on adventures in another world. Cool, right?

2. INDUS at Park Regis Birmingham

Indus Birmingham

Sometimes there’s nothing better than enjoying dinner and a bottle of wine – and what’s more delicious than authentic Indian? The head chef brings his experience working in five-star Indian hotels and has brought his inspiration to Brum. Our favourite dishes on the menu include Indus Haddi Wala Ghost – mutton on the bone slowly cooked in a rich almond, onion and aromatic spice and Goan Machhi – spicy fish curry simmered in coconut milk. Book your table here.

Team building Birmingham

If you don’t want the stress of organising a team-building event (why would you?) then Eventurous has 30 years experience locally and can show you the best of the city with outdoor treasure hunts or soap box derbies. If you don’t fancy braving the great outdoors then where’s better than the Park Regis for enjoying some indoor events like escape rooms or the crystal clear challenge where you battle through zones and complete challenges to beat the clock and win crystals.

Bear Grylls

Extreme lovers – this one’s for you. How does axe throwing, swimming with sharks, archery and free falling in a wind tunnel sound? Make sure you book in for the high ropes too, its 65ft tall and the highest high ropes course in Europe, with some amazing views of Birmingham from the top (if you’re brave enough to reach it!).

5. Sky Gallery Level 16

Sky Loft Park Regis Birmingham

Looking for a blank canvas? Level 16 of the Park Regis Birmingham has unrivalled views across the city and can host any event for up to 400 people. From a casino night to a wedding or conference it’s the perfect place which can be tailored to suit you.

6. Flight Club

Flight Club Birmingham

Food, drinks and darts – the recipe for a good get-together. This quirky bar in the centre has an awesome cocktail list alongside your usual suspects and there’s plenty of tournaments to get competitive over.

Looking for a place to stay?

If you’re looking for a place to stay with your team The Park Regis has rooms and suites and is just five minutes from Five Ways Station and ten minutes from New Street Station. There’s plenty to do with the beautiful 1565 bar onsite for signature cocktails, and if the weather is nice enjoy them on the outdoor terrace.
