Black Sabbath Bench & Bridge
Unveiled in 2019, the iconic bench which is a tribute to Black Sabbath is located on Broad Street, above the bridge on Canal Street. It marks the spot where the band members once posed for an early press photo. Still, a month later following the passing of Ozzy, flocks of fans from across the globe are still placing flowers, hand-written notes and other touching tributes on the bench. There is a camera pointing directly towards the bench from across the street which can be accessed via a QR code, or here, which allows you to take a selfie by the bench!

The Crown pub on Hill Street
Deemed as the birthplace of heavy metal, this where Black Sabbath played their first ever gig (named Earth back then) back in 1968. Though their doors are currently closed with hopes of re-opening by locals, you can still stop by the Black Sabbath landmark to view and take photos of images of the band displayed across the pub’s exterior.
Visit Ozzy the Bull at Grand Central
Visiting Birmingham by train? Before you’ve even exited the doors of Grand Central, you will already be greeted with an Ozzy Osbourne tribute! Of course this heavy piece of metal could only be named after one person. The giant mechanical bull, which was the much-loved centrepiece of the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games, was officially named Ozzy after locals and beyond fought for the bull to be preserved, to which successfully diverted his fate of being scrapped. He was unveiled by Ozzy’s wife, Sharon, in 2023 in his forever home at Grand Central. He even moves his head and swishes his tail every hour from 08:15 to 19:15.
