Birmingham, as the UK’s second city isn’t short of things to do. From famous shopping areas to a lively nightlife, it is a great place for all ages to visit and enjoy.

The Bullring shopping centre is a great spot for high-street browsing, while the Mailbox is home to the city’s high-end shops. Broad Street is home to the city’s main strip of bars and clubs, with many restaurants located in nearby Brindley Place.

The city is home to an abundance of performance spaces – the ICC, Barclaycard Arena, Symphony Hall, Rep Theatre, Hippodrome, the NEC and the Genting Arena. With many of these venues offering concerts and shows throughout the week for locals and visitors to enjoy.

Birmingham is also home to a number of sports stadiums from Edgbaston Cricket Ground which is only 2.2 mile away (or a 12 minutes drive) to Villa Park, where you can soak up the atmosphere and catch top level teams in action.

Park Regis is close to many of Birmingham’s best attractions, providing you with a luxurious base for your visit, as well as being only 10 minutes by train from Birmingham International Airport.

JuJu’s Cafe is a delightful canal-side spot beside Birmingham’s Barclaycard Arena, perfect for a morning visit. From a full English to a luxe eggs royale, the delicious breakfasts are served all day, with an abundance of great veggie options too. A good breakfast sets you up for a good day, so there’s no better reason to get your fill.

The High Field

It’s all about quality at The Highfield in Edgbaston. Voted 2015’s ‘Best Breakfast in Birmingham’ – they have something of a reputation to uphold. A great selection of favourites featuring sourdough bread, the finest meats and of course all the trimmings make them hard to beat when it comes to early eats.

This popular coffee spot knows how to draw in a crowd. Its varied menu offers all sorts from Arabian buttered eggs to ‘clean eats’ sharing boards – perfect for a sociable brunch date with friends.

1565 Restaurant, Bar & Terrace

The freshest ingredients, finest combinations, and wonderful ambience  to top it all off. The 1565 restaurant at Park Regis hotel in Birmingham is a great place to ease yourself into the day, with an extended brunch menu ranging from cooked classics to super sweet pancakes.

Way up in the clouds, on the top floor of Birmingham’s Park Regis Hotel is the delightful Rofuto. The izakaya style service gives your dining experience a relaxed feel, but takes nothing away from the spectacular food on offer. To top it off, right next door you can wind down enjoy some refreshing cocktails at the Skyline bar.
